Euthanasia: we can live without it
The Premier will be putting his own citizens at risk for the sake of an ideology driven by an elite few. No government should behave that way.
One way or the other, euthanasia and assisted suicide will be debated in Victoria some time early in 2017.
A discussion paper will be released early in 2017 for public comment. The legislation is expected to be introduced into the parliament from July 2017.

Today, Hon Nick Goiran, Liberal MLC from the Western Australian Legislative Council, who represents the South Metropolitan region presented the following motion and speech opposing euthanasia and assisted suicide and promoting palliative care.

Embracing the inevitable. A reflection.
But, if the snake oil salesman tried to sell you the same failed cure-all that you bought last year, only this time with a different name will it be any more potent? Will you be convinced?
Public policy based on emotions instead of objective and reasoned assessment of the facts puts us all at risk.
Any one can build a soapbox, but only experience builds good practice.
